The use of original materials was a hallmark for Ferragamo, whose answer to the wartime shortage of hides was to introduce materials never-before used for fashion footwear, such as cork and cellophane. Nowadays there are constantly evolving technologies to help man in his work and improve it. Since the Sixties, enormous work has been done at Ferragamo to serialize made to measure footwear, to the extent of producing more than eighty fittings per model. Most of the manufacturing stages are done by machine, but the machine is always guided by man’s experienced hand. Today, the use of new eco-friendly or recycled materials is the great challenge being taken on by many fashion and design companies.

I would like shoes inspired by visual kei and lolita, etc. I wear anywhere from an 8 1/2 womens to a 10, the problem is I have a wide foot and high arch, so this makes finding shoes difficult. even when I’m right there trying them on. so if anyone shares this dilemma, or knows of a place that can custom size shoes or something please help! Thank you ^_^

I’ve never been to Payless before but the other day I was browsing the store with a friend and we spotted an American eagle label on some of the shoes. So I guess AE and Payless are partners now? Some of the shoes are pretty cute. IDK, what do you think?
I go to a Private School so it’s uniform == and it’s not even like wear you school colours kind of uniform with the polos and stuff… We have to wear the school navy skort, white button up shirt with school logo, the school sweater and the school tie. Blazer is optional. So I was just wondering if those shoes would be nice for school (I like the hidden heel thing, our school allows heels for school but in black and I’m only 5"3)
Everybody just wears these and their pretty ugly. and boring.
THANKS =)
Yeah…. I know I CAN find way cuter ones BUT I do need to walk around quite a lot and I don’t think I can quite do that with pumps. Plus I’ll just be wearing it to school and no where else.
Haha yeah. Sucks that we can’t show off our fashion… it makes us all look like clones. And we’re not allowed ANY jewellery (unless it’s religious) and no hair accessories (only bobby pins to pin you bangs and a black scrunchie for ponytails. I think I can get away with a navy headband) Navy tights and basically the only thing we can show is shoes, bags and a watch =.=
