The upper is then “lasted”, a sole is directly injection moulded onto the upper and finally shoe roomed, inspected and boxed. Unlike many fully automatic manufacturing processes, shoe making is still very labour intensive and involves a great many manual steps. I have owned lots of Converse. I want to buy VANS Authentic Womens and I am wondering if I should go up 1/2 a size of my converse? Also I have very wide feet my feet like broke my converse (well casued two rips) will the Vans do this?
My aunt has a hammer toe on each foot(next to her big toe) and all of her other toes are leaning toward it. So basically she has all crooked toes. She also has VERY WIDE feet. AND she has an orthodics that she has to put in each shoe. The only shoe she has found that she can wear is the new balance womens 880 model in size 7.5D. Does anyone know of anything that will help her with these problems or an alternate shoe that has both a wide and deep toebox as well as a generally wide shoe? Also she was looking at yoga toes to help straighten her toes, but they only ship to the states. We live in NS Canada. Anything that ships here cost a fortune for shipping. ANY HELP, IDEAS, ADVICE anything on any of these subjects would be greatly appreciated. We don’t know where to look for help. Even specialists can’t seem to help. THANKS in advance for any help.
I ordered a pair of TOMS shoes… as per advice I had seen online, I ordered the smaller of my sizes. I’m usually a size 10 or 11, and I got the 10. I couldn’t even get my foot in them. My mom, who has size 8-9 feet had them on and they fit her perfectly. So it seems they run at least one size too small. I also have kind of wide feet (though I usually don’t need "wide" shoes)
Now I’m sending them in to exchange and my question is, should I just get the size 11 in womens, or should I opt for a mens pair so that they’re wider? Or will they be way too big and loose then? Help please!

I have to buy indoor track flats, but i have a problem. I have very wide feet so it makes it really hard when buying shoes. to make things worse no stores sells them, i have to go online. It would be really great if you could reply if you know of any flats that run in wide. doesn’t matter if they’re mens or womens. Thanks so much<3
ok so own some skinny jeans and was wondering what shoes looked better with them. i know everyone has differ opinions but what look best with skinny jeans low top or high top converse? im buying some tomorrow. im either going with lowtop black or high top purple. oh and im really thin and wear a size 7 womens i dont have big wide feet if that helps..
I was wondering if Grishkos are a good brand of pointe shoes. I have wide feet, VERRRY wide feet and pretty big feet too. (about a 9 in womens) Is the shank hard? What model/make of them would you recommend? Do they last long? I have feet that arent very strong on pointe. (these are my second pair, and my second year up on pointe) Please help!!!! I am getting my shoes fitted sometime this weekend. (The store has Chacot, Capezio, Bloch, Grishko, Gamba, Sansh, and freed) are those good brands also? I need answers with details about the shoes, please. =D

Im starting walking to get back in shape and Im in the market for new walking shoes. I have very low arches, and Im dealing with knee pain from being over weight and from yrs of HS athletics and the flat foot problem. There unfortuantly no Lady Footlockers with in 50 miles of me and I refuse to order off line. What department stores carry the best possible line for what Im looking for. I should mention I cant wear womens shoes really as I also have wide feet and wear a 13 in womens and 10.5 in mens. What can I say I swim really really well..lol. Thnx for the help. Walmart shoes are not the greatest for sports specially good quality walking shoes. Ive done my research on that store so far and Im not impressed with the brands they have. Thnx for the suggestions so far though. Im checking Sears tommorrow or Monday
Can someone tell me what popular retail stores carry the Propet brand of shoes. I want to try some on but I don’t really want to hassle an online retailer such as Zappos so I would prefer to try them on in a store where I would have a large selection to choose from. I am looking for a store that would carry the wider sizes too in both mens and womens styles. I have wide feet and have heard Propet shoes are nice and they seem to come in a lot of different sizes.
